Long time since updating

It’s been a LONG LONG time since updating the blog but here I am, doing just that. Summer has been quite busy and I was away, working lots etc etc so I haven’t had much time to post. Actually, the last time I even posted was about a new design which was over a month ago. But again, here I am making a post and a somewhat important one at that.

What I wanted to announce was that we have 3 new tees for sale in the online store for the price of 18$ per tee. Check them out!

Thanks all!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted an update as it school is winding down and summer is starting up. This coming up week I will have my final 3 exams and then will be free for the summer. We’re working hard on our fall line (which will likely be in a franchise, not saying too much yet) so here’s a little preview of what’s to come.

Be on the lookout for that soon(ish). We also will have the Space Pyramids design up for pre-sale within a week or so so make sure to check back!

Good luck on your exams everybody and get out and enjoy the sun!

Canucks Out

Well, after suffering a dissapointing 7-5 loss in game 6, my glorious Canucks are out for the year. Lu choked, defense choked, Sedins and Sundins came ready to play. How do you lose when you score 5 goals in the playoffs? Bad defense. I’m looking forward to the release of Ohlund, Sundin, Pyatt which will clear up some room for the salary cap as it’s being lowered next year. This gives up space for possibly Bouwmeester, Cammalleri? Hodgson and Grabner hopefully too! That’s okay, I’ll be looking forward to July 1st (free agents etc) and the start of next season. Believe in blue!

In other news, I spotted a Validus tee in this video! Seth Mccallum, second trick. Sweeeet.

Sadness

The past couple days have been a bit depressing as well as disappointing as the Canucks lost two in a row, both games in which they had the lead. Both games were lost due to one players hairbrain mistake, Willie Mitchell in game 4 and Kesler in game 5. Sundin finally woke up in game 5 whereas the rest of the team seemed to fall asleep. Bummer. Monday is our last shot so, I still have a little hope! Go ‘Nucks!

2-1 Lead

Hey all,

FINALLY the damned Canucks played well throughout the game and didn’t give up a lead at all. The Canucks worked hard during every period and it paid off, shutting down the Blackhawks on their home ice. Excellent, game 4 is Thursday.

On top of that, we were featured on a couple blogs about the Refilwe project.

PS. Buy some tees for a good cause!

Projet Refilwe

Hey everybody,

I just wanted to inform you guys on a trip that Validus Apparel is sponsoring. A group of teachers and students from my school are going to South Africa this summer on a mission to help orphaned kids in the establishment entitled “Refilwe”. We’re trying to help them raise enough money to build a school there as well as establish a soccer camp for the children. The majority of the kids there are not only orphaned but HIV infected and a change is needed. Of course there are a countless number of people that need our help but this is one small step on the road to a better world. With every purchase of these shirts, a portion of the proceeds will go into the trip to Refilwe. Please consider buying a tee to support a good cause! Every dollar counts into making the lives of these kids and families better than they could ever imagine. Here are the tees we have up for sale.

And our new shirt up for presale.

Thanks a lot guys.

A dissapointing day for Vancouver

Sigh, how dissapointing. Not only did it rain after weeks of sunshine today, but the Canucks lost a shitty game to Chicago. Taken from the Canucks website.

may0209_demiladd_big

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) -Patrick Sharp scored twice to tie it and David Bolland put Chicago ahead with a short-handed breakaway to help the Blackhawks tie their second-round playoff series at a game apiece with a 6-3 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday night.

Lame..Tuesday, we’ll win.
